Our Story
PortraitFlip started in 2018 with a simple idea: deliver happiness through custom portrait art. People wanted gifts that felt personal, so we brought together the best artists worldwide.
Since then, our 250+ artists have hand-painted more than 25,000 portraits, and our customers rate us 4.8/5 on Trustpilot.
The journey of spreading smiles has been wonderful. Along the way, we realized we are more than a company that creates handmade paintings from photos. We create an experience, and we bring memories to life through art.
We are a team of dreamers, creators, designers, and artists who serve the world with neat, realistic works of art. 100% customer satisfaction isn’t just a theory. It’s a belief we live by.
We also believe memories don’t belong in a photobook. They deserve to be celebrated and honored, hung as a centerpiece or gifted wrapped in affection. So turn your memories into hand-painted art.
Every portrait is 100% hand-painted by a real artist. No AI. No digital paintings.
Our mission is to transform the gifting experience and spread happiness through handmade paintings from photos.

What We Paint
Family Portraits
Your whole family on one canvas, hand-painted from your photos. Send one group photo or several separate ones, and your artist brings everyone together.
Pet Portraits
Dogs, cats, horses, birds, and more, painted from your favorite photo. Your artist captures the markings and expression that make your pet one of a kind.
Memorial Portraits
A lasting tribute to a loved one or pet who has passed. Even an older or damaged photo can become a painting you keep for years.
Compilation Portraits
Bring people and pets from different photos together in one painting. You can combine up to 15 characters, even if they were never photographed together.

The PortraitFlip Team
In-House Team
Our in-house team of 17 works remotely toward one goal: serving people with handmade art. A few of us have been together for 4 years, and we make that happen every day.
40% of the team are digital marketing strategists and graphic designers. The other 60% handle customer service, so every order runs smoothly, and every customer feels looked after.
Our Maestros
We work with more than 250 artists worldwide. Some work from a physical studio, and the rest work independently.
Each artist specializes in one medium, and your order goes to an artist who specializes in your medium. They work from your photo and your notes, and nothing ships until you approve the preview.
The Happiness Carriers
We ship every painting worldwide with partners like FedEx Priority and DHL Express. Each one is wrapped in protective layers, and you get a tracking link by email as soon as it ships.
Our logistics team works independently, so our artists can focus on the artwork.
At PortraitFlip, we wake up every day to create. A vision of a loved one. A family together in one frame. A moment that was never photographed, brought to life. Every stroke of color on the canvas carries its emotion.
In the process, we realized we were also giving artists around the world a place to do what they love, painting by hand.
Since 2018, we’ve kept one promise: 100% customer satisfaction. Thank you for believing in us and for trusting us with your memories.
