Every child is beautiful in their own way. Turn your child’s photo into a hand-painted portrait that keeps their innocence and the little details you never want to forget.
Children rarely hold a pose for long, so a favorite candid photo makes the best starting point. Our artists capture the laugh, the messy hair, or the quiet look.
At PortraitFlip, a real artist creates every portrait by hand. Nothing is printed, and no AI is ever used.

What Our Customers Say
I purchased a painting for my fiancé that includes our baby and his dad, who passed away before my baby even got to meet him. The results were great!

Our children never got to meet either of their paternal or maternal grandparents. We got a merged painting of each of them with their favorite papi.

I had a beautiful picture of my son and his dog that I'd wanted to frame for ages. I am so glad I came across PortraitFlip. Loved the painting!
Lisa Mongue

My husband was very close to his mother, and sadly she passed before she could meet our daughter. The painting of the three of them came out exceptional ♥

Why Get Child Portraits From Photos?
A child portrait from photos serves as a great gift for the child’s birthday, parents’ anniversary, child’s first shower, or Christmas.
A hand-painted child portrait adds a personal touch anywhere in your home, from a feature wall in your child’s room to your office desk or kitchen counter.
Our merged photo service allows you to compile photos of your children’s grandparents along with them into one child portrait.
A child portrait also makes a treasured gift for grandparents, who can never see enough of how their grandchild is growing up.
What Else Do We Offer?
Make your child portrait one of a kind with one of these free services:
Add the Child’s Name or Birthdate:
Add the child’s name and birthdate to the painting to personalize your child portrait, a thoughtful touch if you’re gifting it to the parents.
Add a Message for the Child:
Add a personalized message to your child’s portrait from a parent, grandparent, or godparent. Years from now, it’ll be a wonderful surprise for your child to find, and a message they’ll keep coming back to.
Add Characters from Different Photos:
With our free merging service, you can bring characters from different photos into one child portrait. Grandparents your child never got to meet, siblings who live far away, or a godparent who feels like family.

Yes! Just add the message to your order notes, and our artist will include it. We’ll show you the font, design, and placement in your preview before painting begins, so nothing goes on the canvas until you approve it.
Of course! Reply to the same email thread we’ve been using, or email us at support@portraitflip.com if you missed adding your suggestions when you placed the order. We’ll pass them straight to your artist.
